Camera, film and light meter.

That’s how hard I fell for film photography. I had been photographing digitally since the early 2000’s but not until the pandemic did I get introduced to the magic of film photography with its beautiful colors and grain structure. From that day forward I wanted to spend every waking moment shooting film. After a short stint shooting 35mm only, I quickly discovered the appeal of bigger negatives resulting in the addition of a medium format and a large format camera. Now, I spend my days doing what I love and my evenings documenting it here.

Here you won’t find endless articles comparing one type of camera to another, or hear me complain about the rising cost of film and film development. Instead, my focus is on the elemental quality of film photography and why we derive so much pleasure from viewing and shooting it in the first place. And of course, I’ll also share the occasional trick for shooting, developing or scanning film.

If you like what you read, I hope you’ll consider joining me on a photography workshop or booking me for a portrait session.

Besides film photography my professional work centers primarily on headshot photography for commercial clients in and around Stockholm.
